David and Lisa Frisbie have served as
the primary presenters of the Center's
educational and informational programs
since the Center's founding in late 1981,
pioneering essential curriculum and
resources in marriage and family issues.
Widely consulted on social trends and
family relationships in North America,
they are frequently featured in media
interviews and quoted in journals that
pertain to family issues. Since the late
1980's they are in demand related to
post-divorce family issues, traveling
constantly to present seminars, retreats,
camps and conferences for blended
families, remarried couples, single
parents and divorced adults.
To date their journeys have included all
50 United States, 11 provinces of Canada
and more than two dozen nations where
they have spoken, lectured, taught and
on occasion performed weddings. They
have recently returned from training
marriage and family counselors in
central Europe, along the Black Sea.
Frequent media appearances include
being named and quoted in "USA Today,"
"The New York Times" and numerous
local newspapers and journals. They have
been interviewed on ABC-TV, CBS radio
and local broadcast outlets nationwide.
Recently (Summer, 2007) they have been
featured and interviewed in "Christian
Examiner," "Del Mar Village Voice,"
"Carmel Valley News," and more.
Authors of nine books and dozens of
articles on post-divorce family issues,
the Frisbies represent an original (first)
marriage that is nearing 30 years in
duration. By established precedent and
strong personal preference they travel,
speak, consult and educate together.
